V60 R-Design 2019 - Apple CarPlay - Gear Selector

Good evening,

I recently got a V60 but, it seems to lack the ability to do Apple CarPlay which confuses me.

It's a high spec model, plenty of features but no CarPlay. Is there a way to get this without giving a leg to Volvo?

Secondly, I don't particular like the gear selector for the Volvo. I had a BMW 330E 2021 prior to this car and it had a lovely electric selector.

I have noticed you can buy the electric ones but, I can't see if they would actually work or fit the car.

Has anyone ever done it before?

Maybe not this one but, one like the above from another Volvo.

With the entire unit of course.

I want to replace in the manual selector's "+" with "-" symbol. Do you know if it's possible?

I have a feeling the leather stitched one is only for the hybrid cars.

The US Volvo forums may have had better success, they generally modify their cars more than middle aged Volvo drivers do in the UK 🤣

The leather one I’ve shared is from another 2019 Diesel.

I’ll have a look on the US forums. I’m a little way off from middle aged, heh. I have been driving a 330e for the last three years that hasan electric selector so, going to this has been a change.

It’s not that much of a big deal but, it would be nice!

It is much nicer having the leather rocker based one rather than an Audi DSG type auto knob where it pulls down physically.
