P2 estate petrol flap motor replacing.
Just had fun replacing the non working locking flap with a working version.
As im new to thses cars it was a bit trial and error.
To gain access one has to remove the whole side trim. This clips in to the floor at the rh end ,the lh end is held by a 10 mm bolt hiden behind the load cover.Once this is revoved gently pull the top section inwards and it will come away in one piece. Next you have to pull back the rh end sound proofing (release the grey clips ) and you will find the little deveil hiding up towards the top.Just to screws from the petrol entrace and out it comes. Test the replacedment before putting the trim back and remember it takes around 8/10 minutes before it locks its self, hope this is helpful ! not bad for a first timer i think!:
